Four students, Emmy White, Cameron Akers, Kenzie Case, and Finn Reiker from the Northern Rockies Internship Collaborative attended the week-long Northern Rockies Wilderness Skills Institute at Powell Ranger Station in Idaho.

The training brought together more than 200 participants for 11 unique educational sessions. The sessions were led by professionals from National Forests, National Parks, nonprofit conservation organizations, and private industry.

Emmy, Cameron, Kenzie, and Finn participated in defensive horsemanship training, crosscut and axe course, and other hands-on wilderness training and professional development.
