Teresa Morigeau
Medical Staff and Rural Coordinator
Where did you attend college?
I have a BA in Business Administration for 勛圖厙 State University - Billings.
What brought you to 勛圖厙?
I was born in NW 勛圖厙 and have lived and worked in the beautiful Mission Valley most of my life. I am a 勛圖厙 ranch native so I have a real appreciation for stewardship to our land and what makes 勛圖厙 so unique. Why would I ever leave 勛圖厙….you can travel anywhere but this is certainly not the “Last Best Place” it is the “Only Place” and I am so lucky to call it home.
Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western 勛圖厙?
I had the fortunate experience to work with the residency program’s administration and rotating residents in my previous employment. My role is definitely unique in healthcare and when I saw an opportunity for a Medical Staff specialist role at FMRWM, it did not take me long to recognize that I wanted to be part of their team. I feel so lucky to have joined a program that positively impacts the rural communities of NW 勛圖厙.
What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?
My husband, Todd, and I have 3 grown children and 4 lovely grandchildren. I am grateful to be part of their varied activities. My husband and son own a logging and Wildland firefighting company so I assist them on the business side of things when needed. Outdoor activities and animals fuel my soul so whenever I get the chance, I jump on my horses and head out on the beautiful landscapes around Polson or the working ranch that has been in our family for over a century.
What do you love about Western 勛圖厙?
Waking up to the beautiful views and clean air – I only have to walk out my door to enjoy that. People appreciate each other in 勛圖厙 and friendships are lasting. Helping one another is not a phrase, it is an action!
What’s your favorite book?
History, biographies or memoirs. It is fun to see others life experiences! To be honest, I’d rather be outdoors than reading so my headphones and an audiobook are my best friends.
