Zellmer Joins the School of Law as a Visiting Professor
Professor Sandra Zellmer, the Robert E. Daughtery Professor of Law at the University of Nebraska, will join the Blewett School of Law for the 2017-18 academic year as a Distinguished Visiting Professor. Zellmer is a nationally-recognized teacher and scholar in the fields of natural resources, water, public lands, wildlife, and environmental law.

Hon. Beth Baker to Give 2017 Commencement Address
³Ô¹ÏÍø Supreme Court Justice Beth Baker, a 1985 graduate of the School of Law, will give the 2017 commencement address at the School of Law graduation and hooding ceremony on May 20, 2017.

School Remembers Hon. John "Skeff" Sheehy '43
John "Skeff" Sheehy, one of the Blewett School of Law's oldest living graduates, passed away April 7, 2017 at the age of 99. Sheehy graduated from the ³Ô¹ÏÍø School of Law in 1943 and was appointed to the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Supreme Court in 1978, being elected to his seat twice before retiring in 1991. He served in all three branches of government during his distinguished legal career and three of his children became attorneys themselves: Martha Sheehy, a former president of the State Bar of ³Ô¹ÏÍø (1997-98), is a sole practitioner in Billings; Patrick Sheehy is a partner at Halverson & Sheehy in Billings; Anne Yegen practices in Park City. Another daughter, Mary Sheehy Moe, is a former legislator and a member of the Supreme Court's Commission of Continuing Legal Education.
