Before You Submit – Know Your Request Type and Eligibility Requirements
Fall/Spring 2026-27 Work-Study:
Choose this option if you are seeking Work-Study employment during Fall/Spring 2026-27.
Fall/Spring Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in 6 or more undergraduate credits OR 3 or more graduate credits for Fall 2026
- Submitted the 2026-27 FAFSA
- No outstanding financial aid requirements, including verification
Note: Do not select this option for Summer employment. Summer requests submitted under this option will be returned or delayed.
Summer 2026 Work-Study: Half-Time Summer Enrollment or Above
Choose this option if you are enrolled at least half‑time during Summer 2026.
Half-Time Summer Enrollment or Above Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled in 6 or more undergraduate credits OR 3 or more graduate credits for Summer 2026
- Submitted the 2025-26 FAFSA
- May work up to 19 hours/week
- Initial award not to exceed $2,500
- No outstanding financial aid requirements, including verification
Summer 2026 Work-Study: Below Half‑Time Summer Enrollment
Choose this option if you are enrolled less than half‑time during Summer 2026.
Below Half‑Time Summer Enrollment Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled in 5 or fewer undergraduate credits OR 2 or fewer graduate credits for Summer 2026
- Enrolled or intending to enroll in at least 6 undergraduate credits or 3 graduate credits for Autumn 2026
- Submitted the 2026-27 FAFSA
- You must accept, modify, or decline your 2026-27 financial aid awards before a work-study hire card can be processed.
- May work up to 37.5 hours per week
- Initial award will not exceed $5,000
- No outstanding financial aid requirements, including verification
Note: Students who are unable to enroll in Autumn courses at the time of hire (e.g., LAW students) may be asked to provide a brief statement of intended enrollment
